The portfolio of our equipment for non-invasive flow measurement has been expanded earlier this year with the addition of the new BHGE TransPort PT900 ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter for liquids. This state-of-the-art ultrasonic flow meter leverages PANAMETRICS’ decades of technological expertise in ultrasonic flow measurement combined with the latest predictive IT technologies.

The result is a modern instrument that enables simple and reliable flow measurement of sound-conductive liquids in pipes ranging from diameters of 15 mm up to over 7 meters. Detailed product information can be found in its datasheet here.

We will use this device as part of the services we provide to customers, as well as for demonstration measurements (the first such demonstration was conducted in early February 2018 for the customer US Steel Košice, directly at their site. During the demonstration, we successfully measured the flow of industrial water in a DN1200 steel pipe using magnetic mounts and C-RS ultrasonic transducers).
